Who are the Rocket Racoons
Hello,We are year 6 students at NAS Dubai. We have formed our own F1 team, developed a team brand and have applied this to various project elements including producing a scale model race car, built from paper card.
As a team, we have also work on other elements including our team poster and verbal presentation.
We are hoping NAS Dubai will select us as the best team and we can then enter the annual Formula Ethara National Final.
we are part of Formula Ethara, the ‘Classroom Racing’ Team Challenge, is a project learning programme for children ages 6 -13, to develop 21st Century skills in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEM) subjects.
Formula 1 is an in schools project where people work together and unite to test, manufacture and aerodynamic model car to be raced against many other teams in our school. The project enables us to get a real taste of the outside world and the reality of business. All teams must develop a team identity, give a verbal and IT presentation to judges, and design a racing car. We have also included a website
A fun fact about this is that Ethara means excite in arabic
‘Ethara’ means ‘excite’ in Arabic.
This is the perfect name for one of the most captivating programmes as part of F1 in Schools – United Arab Emirates.

Meet the team
This is Alex she is 10 years old, goes to Nas Dubai and is a fantastic recourse manager here at the Rocket Racoons. She is in charge of making sure that we have all the materials to deign and create our fabulous pit lane display.
Hi i’m Leo and I am 10 years old, got to Nas Dubai and I am the Manager of the Rocket Racoons. This means I am responsible for my team and have to make sure everything is running smoothly
This is Viyan he is 10 years old, goes to Nas Dubai and is the design manager of the Rocket Racoons. That means he decides how all of the merchandise looks like.
Last but not least Kiyaara is 10 years old she goes to Nas Dubai and is the marketing manager for the Rocket Racoons. Her job is brand awernes.

We decided on this design because we thought the neon lines gave the design a good effect and the colors matched our color scheme best.
Where is the race held
The race is held at Nord Anglia international school Dubai. Please do not hesitate to come and watch us win the finals.
